Hoosier Daddy?

If you are a Christian, a believer in religious liberty, or a believer that procreation between a man and a woman is sacrosanct, you are not only a Nazi, you are also a part of a vast and ugly hate group that must be threatened, rehabilitated, and fined by the United States government.  Don’t believe me?  Let’s take a short walk through recent history.

Although the last 5 years have shown a significant shift in the acceptance of gay marriage and gay rights, this shift is seemingly not embraced as progress by the progressives due to the fact that Christians and like-minded persons who uphold traditional, familial values, like Dolce and Gabbana, are still free and able to express and practice their differences in values and opinion.

Only a short two weeks ago, Sir Elton John called for #BoycottDolceGabbana over the following statements made by Dolce in Italy’s Panorama Magazine:

“We certainly didn’t invent the family. The Sacred Family made it an icon, but irrelevant of religion or social status: you are born and have a father and a mother. Or at least that is how it should be, that is why what I call children of chemistry, synthetic babies, do not convince me. Surrogate mothers (literal translation: rented uteruses), seeds chosen from a catalogue. And then go and explain to these children who their mothers are. Would you accept to be a child of chemistry? Procreation must be an act of love, nowadays even the psychiatrists are not ready to face the effects of these experiments…I am gay, I cannot have children. I don’t believe one can have everything in life, if it isn’t there it means that it cannot be. It is also nice to deprive oneself of something. Life has its natural course, there are things that cannot be changed. And one of these things is the family.”

Within Twitter nanoseconds, Dolce was labeled as a H8r and a bigot simply due to his difference in opinion and his beliefs stemming from his traditional, Sicilian upbringing.  The animus towards and punishment of these homosexual H8r’s, the “tolerant” left had concluded, should be swift, public and severe.

But the work of the militant left is never finished, as demonstrated by the latest LGBT hashtag boycott, #BoyCottIndiana.  This misinformation campaign has opened another Twitter “dialogue” about H8 and tolerance in relation to RFRA laws.  Although all RFRA laws are about tolerance and are designed and passed to protect the freedoms to exercise one’s religious liberty without fear of government reprisal or force, this type of tolerance is simply not acceptable nor should be protected because of the bigotry born from the Christian faith. There is no room for dissent if the dissent is coming from bigots.

The presumption that those who disagree with the LGBT agenda are fueled by hate, began in late 2008 when the cleverly titled NoH8 campaign was formed as a direct response to the passage of Prop 8 in California.   Yet, when you look at the original voter turnout demographics, which likely have shifted by 3-5 percentage points since 2008, groups that largely voted for Democrats in 2008, came out in stunning numbers to vote conservatively on a liberal ballot measure: 70% of blacks, 53% of Hispanics, and an average of 58% of women voted to uphold marriage between a man and a woman.  But political affiliation, race and gender didn’t matter to NoH8 and similar organizations. In fact, organizations who disagreed with these voters, purposefully targeted Christian businesses and Prop 8 funders in order to threaten, abuse, assault, and jeopardize their families and their livelihoods.  Remember Brendan Eich? A $1000 donation to fund Prop 8 landed him in the crosshairs of the LGBT community resulting in his forced resignation.

Yet, no matter how many resignations are given, bakers or florists put out of business,  you can guarantee that the mission of the intolerant left will not cease until all of those that disagree with them are silenced, rehabilitated, or fined and forced out of business.

Governor Mike Pence just announced that he is going to fix the Indiana RFRA law even though it isn’t broken.  Who’s your Daddy, Mike? Perhaps you should take a trip to Italy, for when Dolce and Gabbana responded to questions about their “hateful” comments, they continued to speak without fear and without apology:

“It was never our intention to judge other people’s choices. We do believe in freedom and love. We firmly believe in democracy and the fundamental principle of freedom of expression that upholds it.”

  • What we have today is little different that Puritans of the past; those who agitated the political process to the extent alcohol was banned. It’s an extremism – no question. Like all extremisms, this too shall pass.

The modern Left is a mockery of itself – a world Orwell himself wouldn’t imagine. Character assassination in the name of tolerance? Devastation in the name of diversity? Scorning in the name of acceptance? No, these clowns are fit for extinction, geeze, even Bill Maher called ’em out last week.

And that’s where the solution begins. Expose. Shine the light. Mock. ReaganBaby is a great place to start. Nice work Megan!
