Human traffickers reap up to $2.3 billion, offer illegal aliens ‘all-inclusive’ packages

Central American crime lords, gangs, and small time operators profit up to $2.3 billion moving Illegal immigrants into the United States, and collect even more from road “taxes” used by smugglers, according to a new study of the business President Trump is seeking to shut down.

Migrants, paying $3,000-$10,000 each, can choose “pay as you go” or “all-inclusive” packages that include travel from their home, not just through Mexico, said the report.

And smugglers also offer “specialized services” for children, pregnant women, and the elderly “that reduce exposure to risks and do not require extensive physical activity, such as scaling walls or extended hikes through remote terrain,” according to a new Rand Corporation report funded by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Our position hasn’t changed. The tariffs will move forward and go into effect on Monday,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Friday.

Google can’t block conservative employees’ discrimination lawsuit, judge says

Google attempted to have the case dismissed. But a judge in California, where political discrimination is illegal, ruled against the company.

The case will now move to a legal process known as discovery — meaning that Google must provide Dhillon and other attorneys working on the case access to its internal documents.

This is potentially a huge problem for the tech giant, as previous leaks of internal documents and video have repeatedly exposed the company’s extreme political bias.

The case was sparked by the firing of James Damore in 2017 after he wrote an internal memo — subsequently leaked to the press by leftists within the company — calling for more political diversity at the company.

Shocker: a professed Marxist is a fascist: Carlos Maza’s reign of terror

Well, for one thing, Maza’s social location gives him unique power. Being gay and Latino would have been “axes of oppression” – in high school. In the 2019 media environment, they are sources of cultural power. Those who criticize him for those traits can be deplatformed.

Further, his career as a progressive journalist gives him power. A truly nuanced intersectional analysis of Maza would account for his ability to unleash the entire mainstream against Steven Crowder. Truly “marginalized” people cannot do that.
