Upstate NY clerks refuse to grant illegal aliens drivers licenses

“In the memo of the bill, they talk about the reason why they’re passing this bill is to make sure that people who are here illegally can get to and from work,” Kerns said. “It is illegal to hire people in the state of New York or anywhere that are here illegally.

“There’s an inconsistency there.”

GOP Sen. Josh Hawley takes aim at Big Tech censorship

Sen. Josh Hawley has announced legislation that would remove tech titans’ protection from liability for third-party content on their platforms.

The Missouri senator’s bill specifically targets Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

The Act, which became law in 1996, provides key legal protection to big tech. Section 230 states that “no provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.”

Supreme Court upholds cross on public land in Maryland

And the court concluded that the nearly 100-year-old memorial’s presence on a grassy highway median doesn’t violate the Constitution’s prohibition on the government favoring one religion over others.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the outgoing White House press secretary, is seriously considering running for governor of Arkansas, according to three people who have spoken to her in recent days.

While Sanders and her associates have been quietly talking about the possibility for months, sometimes in jest, she has shown renewed interest in the prospect as she’s started contemplating her post-White House plans, the people said.

Trump may live tweet during Democrat debate. Bernie Sanders freaks out.

Sanders didn’t hold back while speaking with MSNBC on Tuesday when host Andrea Mitchell asked the Vermont Senator about President Trump’s declaration that he planned to live tweet the first Democratic debate next week.

“Look, he can tweet all that he wants to tweet, but let me just say this,” Sanders said in response. “You have a president who, despite what one of his supporters mentioned a moment ago, is, in fact, a pathological liar, he is a racist, he is a sexist, he is a homophobe, and he is a religious bigot.”
